Please join us this year as we once again have a Back to School Supply Drive. We started this event a few years back when we noticed that kids in the neighborhood around the Empowerment Center were going back to school empty-handed. We soon learned that there was a great need to help our neighbors with school supplies, especially at the beginning of the school year.

WHAT:
Back to School Supply Drive
Activities Include The Following:
- Free back-to-school supplies WHILE THEY LAST;
- Free Food;
- Free Haircuts for Kids;
- Bounce House;
- Basketball;
- Drawings for Door Prize;
- Tours of the Empowerment Center.
WHERE:
The Empowerment Center at 2200 Zang Blvd., Dallas, TX 75224
- Take I-35 South to Illinois. (This is 2 exits PAST the Zang exit.)
- Take a right on Illinois (heading west). First light is Zang.
- Turn right on Zang. We are the second building on the right.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
There Are Three Easy Ways To Help:
- Bring new, unopened school supplies of any kind and join in the fun at the Empowerment Center, 2200 South Zang Blvd., Dallas, Texas 75224, from 10:00 am to noon;
- Donate cash or check (payable to New Hope Foundation) at the Empowerment Center on August 16, 2014 from 10:00 am to noon; or
- Donate Online to New Hope Foundation through Pay Pal (list the school supply drive in the ‘special notes’ section of the donation form). We’ll send you a receipt and make sure your entire donation goes to the Back to School Supply Drive.
