FAN & A/C DRIVE
Rising temperatures the last two summers have claimed 40 Dallas County lives and caused significant suffering among the poor, elderly, and disabled. A fan or window unit might have made a life-saving difference. We held our first ever Fan & A/C Drive on Saturday, April 27, 2013. The Dallas Bar Association, The Notre Dame Alumni Club of Dallas and The City of Dallas People Helping People Program helped us collect and distribute 68 A/C units and 30 box fans. Ranie Young, former Dallas Cowboy cheerleader and loyal donor to our causes, was the first to donate a new A/C unit to this new community service event. Shown here are some photos from Fan Day.
