New Hope Foundation’s life skills programs are housed in the Empowerment Center, a 5000-square foot, nonprofit adult learning center. Currently occupied by Framehouse Outreach Foundation, also a 501 (c)(3)organization, we strive to empower individuals through education and training by giving impoverished families and individuals a hand up and not a handout. Under Reverend Johnny Flowers’ leadership, the Empowerment Center provides outreach to poor and disenfranchised individuals by providing the tools to help transform their lives through education, training and spiritual enrichment programs. We empower people to become healthier and more productive individuals, families and communities.
The state-of-the-art building consists of three classrooms, two large meeting spaces, a small kitchen, and administrative offices. It was designed and constructed to eventually accommodate an additional 5,000 square feet of useable activity space on the second floor.
The building is a gift to the residents of South Dallas and is available to other volunteer organizations whose vision is similar to New Hope Foundation’s. Please contact Reverend Johnny Flowers at the Empowerment Center for more information.
The Empowerment Center offers various licenses and certifications, GED classes, self-improvement opportunities, and much more.
